About Ameen Najjar
Having recently joined Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP, in Indianapolis as council in the labor and employment law practice group, Ameen Najjar is a legal professional possessing 20 years of service as a police officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Within Ameen Najjar’s current purview are issues regarding administrative law, employment law, and college and university law. He is well-versed and practiced in collegiate sports litigation and represents clients in an assortment of investigations and hearings.
In preparation for his career in law, Ameen Najjar earned his baccalaureate degree in political science and criminal justice from Michigan State University, where he would later return to serve as adjunct assistant professor in the School of Criminal Justice. He attained his JD from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Society and the Wendell L. Willkie Society of International Law. A graduate of the FBI National Law Institute in Quantico, Virginia, Mr. Najjar’s professional affiliations include the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association.
