Maslow's Hierarchy of needs is could be an massive potential in businesses because they would want to motivate workers to make them enjoy the job as well as be happy to work for the company.

The role of Motivation is key in a work place because if staff hate the workplace they won't work as hard, In Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs has Self esteem as the second most important subject of the stages of needs that is where motivation is ranked, because it raises a persons self esteem or how highly they think of them selves.

Companies use this method to make workers feel good about working at their job so many companies may potentially adapt the method of making workers happy to keep them working to the best of their ability.

Understanding the theories of motivation may help a boss of a business to be more involved with the workers opening more opportunities for the business as well as helping the workers enjoy their jobs, however the manager can improve how they are respected as the boss by motivating the staff which will raise the overall morale increasing production, the manager will become more able to rely on staff to finish deadlines. These methods are debated over as how useful it is or whether have no effect on how the workers feel for their work but it is fact that motivation helps with daily life and other scenarios.
