Based in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul region, Andrew John
Arlotta co-owns and serves as vice president of the Minnesota Swarm.
Part of the National Lacrosse League, the Swarm has entertained
spectators since its creation in 2004. For the team, Andy Arlotta
oversees all day-to-day aspects, ranging from sales and marketing to
communications and community outreach. Andrew John Arlotta, who is an
associate governor of the National Lacrosse League, and the Minnesota
Swarm have earned recognition from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business
Journal, First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! program, and the St.
Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.
To prepare for his career, Andy Arlotta attended the University of Wyoming. After a year, he transferred to Northern Illinois University, where he garnered a bachelor of science in corporate communications. Following the receipt of his degree, he became a distribution sales representative with Cardinal Health. This position required him to service nearly 50 hospitals in the Midwest worth more than $2.8 million in contracts.
Continuing in the health care field, he joined Beverly Enterprises as a business development coordinator responsible for Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) strategies. During this period, Andrew John Arlotta enrolled in Webster University and completed coursework toward a master of business administration. Preceding his tenure with the Minnesota Swarm, he performed as a national account manager with Managed Health Care Associates, Inc.
