About Andrew Knot
Fluent in German, Andrew Knot pursued his education in both the United States and Austria. In 2012, he graduated with a bachelor of arts from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he studied both English and German. While in college, Andrew Knot spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Vienna. Currently, he is employed as an English teaching assistant for high school students at two schools in Austria.
While pursuing his studies toward his bachelor’s degree, Andrew Knot gained experience as a sports information assistant. He stayed up to date with athletic events while writing recaps and feature stories. He also provided live sports broadcasts for his fellow students. In addition, Knot served as a contributing writer for the student newspaper, Chimes, and as a contributing editor for the college’s journal of the arts. In 2011, he received the Hartman Writing Award in recognition of his outstanding writing skills.
