Anne Rossen, MA, LCPC
Owner-practitioner Anne Rossen of Anne Rossen Integrative Psychotherapy and More, LLC, sees clients in her Northbrook, Illinois, office. In the mental health field for over a decade, Rossen helps adolescents, adults, couples, and families through challenging times with an integrative approach. Combining a deep respect for people and their capacity to grow with a thorough understanding of the change process and of human development throughout life, Anne Rossen has guided her clients through anxiety, depression, transition, trauma, and more to a more satisfying life.
Before going into private practice, Rossen earned a master of arts in counseling psychology from Northwestern University and trained as a psychotherapist at two agencies on Chicago’s North Shore serving youth, adults, and families. Over the years she has also provided distance parent-coaching services for Vive Family Support Program and has helped with the professional development of counseling psychology graduate students at Northwestern University's Family Institute.
Originally an English major from the University of Michigan, Rossen has pursued continuing education in writing therapy and sometimes integrates it into her work, as, for example, with groups she has facilitated, like “Passages: A Journal Therapy Group for Women in Different Life Stages and Circumstances,” and “Turning Points: A Therapeutic Writing Group for Adults Whose Lives Are Changing.”
