Incoming Freshmen

Admissions Documents Required:

  1. Completed Admission/Scholarship application
  2. $40 nonrefundable application fee
  3. Official high school transcript reflecting unweighted GPA and class rank (if available)
  4. ACT or SAT test score*
  5. Assured Admission
    Students qualify for assured admission if they meet ONE of the following criteria:
  6. 3.0 GPA or better unweighted cumulative AND top 33.3% rank in high school graduating class, OR
  7. 3.0 GPA or better in 15-unit core AND 21 ACT/980 SAT or better, OR
  8. 24 ACT/1090 SAT or better
*OSU does not consider the writing component of the ACT/SAT for admission criteria listed above.

I chose auto mechanics because I am really interested in cars and how cars work. I want to learn how to build cars.

I chose this career because I also like helping out the public with car issues. I like working with my hands, I also don't mind getting dirty. I really think this the career for me. My long term goal is to open up an auto mechanic shop.
