It is the last performance the beatles ever played together .

On the 30th of January 1969 , they performed their last concert on the rooftops of the apple inc headquarters in London 3 Savile Row . During 42 minutes they sung in the middle of the London office district . They played 5 different songs , their concert was so loud that even the London metropolitain Police asked them to reduce the sound of the music . What a way to finish .

2) Did you know that ... ?

Initially, Ringo Starr was not a member of The Beatles, Pete Best was it but he was not good enough, so he was remplaced by Ringo. Another guy was a member of The Beatles at their begin, that was Stuart Sutcliff, but he died tragically at the age of 22 from still unknown medical problems.

Brian Epstein (a manager) glimpsed The Beatles playing at the Cavern 1961. He wasn't so impressed, the fours members wore black leather jeans and leather jackets, they looked out of control. He say : « They were not very tidy and not very clean » « They were the sort of lads I have always avoided at School ». But when they play at the X-Factor a song written by John and Paul « Hello Litlle Girl », that convice Epstein that the band could writeas well as play song and signed the group to become their manager. He immediatly send them to the right track and they signed with Parlophone records.

On the 12th of June 1964, The Beatles were named members of the British Empire and they went to Buckinggham to collect the awards of the Queen herself.

In the years 1965-1967, they metamorphosed from the clean cut image that Epstein give them to something more flamboyant and out of the box. And after 1966, the « Fab Four » embraced more esoteric world of spiritual gurus, free love and drugs, the « Peace and Love », « The hippies ».
