When it comes to capturing an image, she feels there are certain aspects required to make that photo most impactful to the viewer. First of all, it is important to use a subject that the viewer can relate to. Doyle finds children to be one of her favorite subjects, as people often tend to think about their own childhoods and how there is similar to different to that of the subject.
Of all the sources of media, video captures the widest range of aesthetic elements. Video includes audio as well as motion pictures that contain the exact sounds and movements of the subjects, saving writers a need to give vivid detail that is already portrayed in the video. Ashley Turner Doyle has captured some incredible moments on video, from sights of rare wildlife to the cultures in inner-city people around the globe. Her videos have been contributed to The Discovery Channel and other media outlets.
