If you're pushed for time, shave an hour off your prep time and use it to consolidate AFTER your class instead
With so much going on in your life, it's no wonder that prepping for classes each week can feel like it's never going to end. So, if you're finding time management difficult, try shaving an hour or so off your prep time and using that time after class to consolidate what you've done.
Once you've discussed ideas in class and worked on a few problems, your understanding of the topic will be so much better, as will any notes or diagrams you create for yourself. An hour's worth of work after class will have twice the value of two hours work before. It takes discipline to keep those books out, but it will be worth the effort!
