the risk factors that relate to football. the risks in football is high.  the risks that are in football is concussion for example when two people go up for an header they could bang heads, another risk in football is the ankles when you are running at the defenders and they go for a sliding tackle they could catch the ankles.

the risks in football can be minimized by not going into tackles you know that you wont get the ball. The risks can also be minimised by not playing for the football club you play for if you know that your not fit or healthy enough for example if you have been injured and you are still having problems with your ankle then don't play the full game only play for about 20 minutes until you know that your ankle is healthy don't over ex hurt yourself.

injuries in football can be nasty because if you get a knee injury you can be out if football forever due to your knee and back injury which will cause you to lose ability.

common injuries in sport

1. knee injury is a common injury in sport this can also happen by defenders slide tackling and missing the ball and getting the opponents knee.

2. ankle injury is also a common injury this can also happen by defenders slide tackling and missing the ball and getting the opponents ankle.

3. head injury is also a common injury this can happen when two people go up for a header and both players miss the ball and bang heads this can cause concussion.  

4. cuts can also happen in football for example when Manchester united played against fulham Rooney got a cut and was out for about 2 months.

injuries in football can be nasty because if you get a knee injury you can be out of football forever due to your knee and if you injure your back you can also be out due to back problems which will result in not being able to take part in any sport at your best ability.
