Throughout his career, Avi Yashchin has leveraged advanced technology to create and drive solutions for sustainable energy and business success. He draws on seven years of experience in investments ad trading, during which time he used advanced algorithms and support vector technology to analyze data and identify key patterns. Also successful in managing a $42 million portfolio in corporate bonds and loans as vice president for Barclays's Global Credit Products, Avi Yashchin left finance in 2008 to make an impact on the U.S. economy as an entrepreneur in clean energy.
The founder of three companies, Avi Yashchin ultimately decided to focus his attention and resources on green job training group CleanEdison. As its CEO, he grew the company into one of the largest companies of its kind in the United States. Since selling the company to Kaplan in 2014, he has continued to serve as a clean energy educator and lecturer at New York City's General Assembly and at Johns Hopkins University. In his free time, Mr. Yashchin enjoys competing in triathlons and learning about advances in green energy, sustainability, and artificial intelligence.
