Australian Rainforest cover about 9000 sq. kilometers and are recognized all around the world one of the most ecologically fascinating natural areas in the world.

~80% of the flowers in the Australian rainforests are not found anywhere else in the world

~They have a very diverse display of flora and fauna (plants and animals)


Most of the rainforest found in the "Australian" area lies on the world's second largest island, New Guinea.

The Australian Rainforests are home to over 3000 species of plants, and contains 395 species that are listed as either rare or threatened
