Scenario 1

Football season starts this weekend and Steve is excited about his school's first game. He has already purchased his ticket and had made plan to meet his friends there. His school team is playing their long-time rival and it should be the best game of the season. On the night before the game, Steve's parent have not seen these friends in years because their friends. Steve's parents have asked him to stay home from the game to baby-sit his six-year-old brother. They realize Steve has made plan to go to the game but feel that he will have an opportunity to attend many more games this year. Steve's parent will let him make the final decision. What should he do?

Step 1: State the situation

His parent want him to stay home from the the game to baby his six-year-old, because his parents friend are 30 miles away and the only time they see them.

Step 2: List the option

Stay home to baby sit his little brother or go to the game to meet his friends there

Step 3: Weigh the possible outcomes

To stay to be bored with little sibling or going to game and have fun

Step 4: Consider Values

Either way the parent or him gone have to carry him with them if either or don't want to stay home

Step 5: Make a decision and act it

May i go to the football game and just bring him with me ?!

A not so popular student has invited you to a sleep over at you to a sleep over at a birthday party on Friday night. You have accept the invitation and are planning to attend. On Wednesday, you are invited to a boy-girl party for the same Friday night by one of the most popular student in your school, someone you have hoped to become friends with. After talking with your friends, you realize most of them will attend the boy-girl party. Your parents have told you it is your decision, but that your should attend the party you responded to first. You really want to be a part of the popular crowd. What do you do?

Step 1: State the situation

Two party are going on at the same Friday night and one of them very popular.

Step 2: List the option

sleep over at a birthday party or one of the most popular people from your school invited you to his boy-girl party.

Step 3: Weigh the possible outcomes

Have a little fun at the sleep over while thinking about the other popular party or go to the popular party enjoy yourself fun probably the first time .

Step 4: Consider Values

i would go to the party and then go to the sleep over after for you would have a little experience

Mom, i think I'm going to go the the party first then sleep over after . may i?
