Hello, my name is Thomas Jefferson. I was born April 13, 1743 in Shadwell, VA. as a boy i loved to play with my friends on the land I would eventually build Monticello. I would explore creeks, forests and streams. When I was older I became very popular. I had many nicknames including: Red Fox, Long Tom, The pen of the revolution, etc. I was an early archaeologist, I had bones of a Mastodon shipped to me at the White House in a attempt to build a skeleton of the creature.
I was a great grandfather, I had 12 grandchildren and many of them lived with me at the same time. I was also an early Astronomer, i loved stargazing, almost as much as i lived books. I personally own 6,487 books. Many people know me as the principle author of "The Declaration of Independence" (1776) I soon became the 3rd President of The United States of America ( 1801-1809).
This is a map of my hometown, located in Shadwell, Virginia. It is a very beautiful town, filled with creeks, rivers and railroads. It is a very historic town. I'll place a few images of my hometown using this new thing called internet , very useful
This picture you see above the text is my home that I built, I named it " The Monticello". After I inherited a large amount of land from my father, at 26 years old I had begun to build Monticello.
The election of 1800 between myself and John Adams was an emotional and hard- fought campaign. Each side believed that victory by the other would ruin our nation.
Adams and myself were often separated by different conclusions we had drawn from our political reading.
This new technology is very useful. I bought myself an ipad just the other day. I love science, technology and innovation. The introduction of the flying car was truly astonishing. I cant wait to see what technology has to offer in the Future.
