Accademia Museum

By: Jenna Phelan and Audrey McBride

The Accademia Museum is another art museum. It is mainly famous because it holds the very very famous sculpture of the David, shown above. Along with the David, it holds many of Michelangelo and other artists' artwork.  We are visiting the Accademia Museum on our 5th day of Florence. We do not have to pay for admission, thanks to the Firenze card! The Accademia Museum is very popular, mostly because of it is the home of the David Statue. We want to visit the Accademia mostly because we want to see the David, and its other glorious works of art! Google gives this museum 4.4 stars.
