About the Gray Wolf
The Gray Wolf also known as Canis Lupus or Timber Wolf is an endangered animal. It ranges in height from 2.6'- 2.8' and usually weighs about 110 lbs. as an adult. It lives in tundras such as the Arctic Circle. It also lives in Northwestern U.S. They eat small and big game such as rabbits, buffalo, fish and other game. The Gray Wolf's part in its ecosystem is to keep other animals in check so they don't overpopulate. The Gray Wolf became endangered because of humans competing with the wolves for food.
On the road to recovery
People are protecting their natural habitat by enforcing laws to defend and protect them. Protect wolves. If you see one don't try to hurt or kill them, slowly back away so they do not feel provoked like they want to attack.
