Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oi, Oi, Oi! An Australian interpretation of the documentary.
As an Australian, my interpretation of the documentary is that America is an obese nation which contributes to deaths caused by heart attacks. With over 14,000,000 people obese in America, it isn’t hard to find out why so many people are dying from heart issues.
As an Australian watching this documentary, I feel that the size of the “super-size” needs to be reduced or stopped. The super-size has now stopped due to the documentary but the largest size you can get now is the extra-large. This is still is too big in my eyes. No one needs to consume that much fat food in one serving. We see that there are people eating this more now than they ate the super-size. They buy more food because it is smaller than the super-size.
As we can see in the documentary, Morgan Spurlock is seen in this documentary consuming 9, super-size meals in the 30 day period. We see the results physically and mentally. We see what it is doing to him, this is why Australia needs to cut down the size of their meals. Now in America they have cut down from a super-size to an extra-large. This should be cut again to a large. What’s the point of making it that big, that people are going to die from it. The moment the doctor tells Morgan that he is very unwell, should make us all re-think the way we look at fast food.
As a nation, we need to stop being lazy and not get Australia ontop of the most obese nation list.
