About Barry Nadell
When Barry Nadell retired after selling his company InfoLink Screening Services, Inc., a national background screening company with over 120 employees in 2006, he thought that his life would be filled with riding his horses, playing tennis, skiing and traveling. But one month after he retired, he received an unsolicited call from a law firm asking if he would be interested in being an expert witness in a case concerning background screening.
"Tell me about your case", said Nadell and they did. "Yes, I can help you", was Nadell's response. "Great what do you charge", replied the attorney. "I haven't a clue" was Nadell's response. Forced to give the attorney a number, Nadell suggested what he thought was fair. "Your hired", said the attorney.
Little did Nadell realize that building his company InfoLink by becoming the expert in the legal matters surrounding background screening would create an afterlife for Nadell in retirement. It seems that all the articles written, speaking all over the country to human resources and security professionals, and writing the book "Sleuthing 101, Background Checks and the Law" (Amazon), would make a difference for clients of law firms who rely on Nadell's expertise. Since 2006, Barry Nadell has been involved in several cases representing both plaintiff and defendants. Some cases were very high profile.
Barry Nadell's range of experience includes not only Background Checks but also E-Verify and I-9 Compliance processes, as he co-established Form I-9 Compliance, LLC, a company that offers electronic paperless compliance solutions. Form I-9 Compliance was the Department of Homeland Security’s first designated agent for its innovative E-Verify program.
Nadell also consults with businesses on their background screening. To learn more about Nadell Investigations’ full range of consulting and expert witness competencies, visit www.nadellinvestigations.com.
