About Beth Hayden Minnesota

Minnesota resident Beth Hayden has held a number of fundraising positions with The Nature Conservancy office in Minneapolis since 2001. In her present position as deputy director of philanthropy, she engages with team members in cultivating donor relationships and achieving specific goals. Beth Hayden’s nonprofit management experience extends to the late 1990s, when she held a position with the Minnesota Land Trust as office manager. She oversaw a full range of office activities, from hiring to bookkeeping, and assisted in outreach and fundraising campaign efforts. She also oversaw technology functions and played a pivotal role in developing a new database system.

Ms. Hayden maintains a strong community focus and sits on the board of Career Solutions, Inc, based in Saint Paul, MN. This nonprofit organization seeks to help displaced homemakers in the process of rejoining the workforce. She is also a longtime member of Friends of the Mississippi River in St. Paul and earned the group’s first-ever Volunteer of the Year award in 1999. Ms. Hayden has a passion for outdoor activities such as canoeing and camping, and is currently engaged in studying edible landscaping techniques.
