Desperate, Flirty, Isolated
All I wanted was… to leave this town a man to take me away to be famous ands beautiful to find love attention
But I didn't want… to be married to Curley to live on the farm to be isolated from others to be looked down upon a life without fame
Curley's wife interacts with the man Crooks by saying harsh words in a threat to him because he is black. She also interacts with Slim by acting flirty towards him as if the like each other more than friends. She also interacts with Lennie by listening to what he says and being soft and kind towards him. They way she interacts differently with each man tells the reader that maybe she was raised to be racist towards blacks so she is rude to him and that the challenged people just need someone to care for them so she acts nice.
Curley's wife mainly affects the plot by how young she is because teenagers like her act and think differently than older men of a farm who are 30 years plus. The plot is also affected because of the fact that she is the only girl on the ranch which raises complications with the guys.
