Comment Battle #2: 2Pac vs. Biggie!
Hello and welcome to Comment Battle #2! Today we have the kings of Rap, Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G! If you don't know how this works, I give you some choices, give you the description of each choice, and YOU take to the comments and decide... WHO IS BETTER! So, without further a due, here are your choices!
Choice #1: The Notorious B.I.G./Biggie Smalls
Choice #2: 2Pac/Tupac Shakur
In the east corner, with a $160 Million Dollar Net Worth, Responsible for hits like Juicy, Hypnotize, and Big Poppa, we have The Notorious B.I.G! Biggie, born Christopher George Latore Wallace on May 21, 1972, in Clinton Hill, NY was very involved in the East Coast-West Coast Rap Rivalry. Sadly, because of his heavy involvement, he paid the ultimate price in March 9, 1997. Smalls' unique voice, loose, easy, flow, and amazing storytelling skills were the key to his success as he won Rap Artist of the Year in 1995, was nominated for four Grammies, won Best Rap Video twice, won Best R&B/Soul Album three times, won four different awards from The Source, and had a movie made about him, titled Notorious in 2009. R.I.P. Biggie Smalls.
In the west corner, with a $40 Million Dollar Net worth, Responsible for hits like Hit Em' Up, Keep Ya Head Up, California Love, Thug Life, and Dear Mama, we have Tupac Shakur! Born Lesane Parish Crooks on June 16, 1977, in New York City, NY, Tupac was known for his highly political and socially conscious lyrics, even being brave enough to tackle hard subjects like communism and racism. Like Biggie, he was highly involved in The East Coast-West Coast Rap Rivalry, and like Biggie, at 25, he was shot and killed on September 13, 1996. Tupac was named "Number 1 MC" by MTV, was named No. 86 of the "100 Immortal Artists of All Time" along with the likes of Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and John Lennon, appeared in eight movies, was nominated for 6 different Grammies, and won Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist in 1997. R.I.P. Tupac Shakur.
