About Bishop Derek Jones
Possessing years of training and expertise as a senior officer with the United States Air Force, Bishop Derek Jones currently serves as bishop of the armed forces and chaplaincy for the Anglican Church in North America. A highly trained individual, Bishop Jones began preparing for his career at Beeson Divinity School in conjunction with the Samford University, where he received a master of theology. He has also studied music at Eastern New Mexico University.
When not devoting himself to his work, Bishop Derek Jones dedicates time, energy, and resources to a variety of charitable endeavors in and around his local community. He participates as district commissioner for the United States Pony Club and serves on the advisory board for Baptist Health Systems Congregational Health/Parish. In addition, he is a member of Anglicans for Life and Special Equestrians.
