You can disrespect your body by doing things that affect your body in bad ways. DOing drugs, drinking alcohol, and eating unhealthy are examples of disrespecting your body.
Healthy vs Unhealthy
The photo below is a great example of healthy body and a non healthy body. In the non healthy picture you can see the different types of food the man consumes. You can see that he consumes Many unhealthy foods, like the hotdog with has an average of 500 calories and 36 grams of fat. Compared to the healthy man which consumes healthy food like fruit, vegetables, and meats. Food like a small fresh tuna has on avg. 26 grams of protein and 2 grams of fat. Being lean and healthy is something everyone just try to be. Drugs and alcohol effect your body tremendously. Cocaine, heroin, meth, marijuana, Date Rape, and more do horrible thing to the body. Marijuana over activates parts of the brain that contain the highest number of these receptors. This makes the uses feel high. Cocaine on the other hand can cause people who use it to from suffer heart attacks or strokes, which may cause sudden death. Cocaine typed deaths are often a result of the heart stopping followed by an arrest of breathing. Date-Rape drug are drugs that are sometimes used to assist in committing a sexual assault. Sexual assault is any sexual activity that a person doesn't want. Due to the effects of these drugs, victims may be physically helpless, unable to refuse sex, and unable to remember what happened. The drugs mostly have no color, smell or taste and are easily added to flavored drinks without the victim’s knowledge. Alcohol can also effect your body in bad ways, like Brain damage. being drunk can cause blackouts, memory loss and anxiety. Long-term drinking can result in permanent brain damage, serious mental health problems and alcohol dependence. Overall one bad thing can lead to another. Think about it first you go out drinking which seemed reasonable at first but then you begin to drugs which lead to depression which can make you feel bad so you decide to eat your way through your problems, but the truth is, is that it was a mistake in the first place.
