About Bryan Specht
As president of Olson Engage (formerly Olson PR & Social Media), Bryan Specht leads a Chicago firm that offers focused brand marketing, reputation and corporate responsibility solutions. Bryan Specht’s company engages collaboratively with companies in strategically enhancing their branding presence, with an emphasis on bringing public attention to products, worthwhile causes, issues, and innovations. Corporate reputation campaigns span multiple channels and are tailored to the needs of diverse clients, from venture firms to Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Specht completed his bachelor’s in American ethnic studies at Ohio University. He subsequently completed coursework in campaign management and communications at the George Washington University, and in public affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. In 1998, Mr. Specht served as campaign manager for Ted Strickland for Congress in Ohio, and later he worked in a communications position with Bill Bradley for President. In 2000, he served as deputy chief of staff for U.S. Senator Robert Torricelli. From 2001 to 2007, Bryan Specht was executive vice president with the major communications consultancy Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
