Giving you the most important event long after it happened

The Death Of A Legend

Philip Seymour Hoffman has been in countless movies, such as the Big Lebowski and the Hunger Games.  With so many movies, it would seem unlikely that he is unhappy but he was. He died from combined drug intoxication on February 2nd 2014. Nobody saw it coming and everyone was devastated.

Philip was seen around the country not only as an actor but a human being as well. He was quoted saying, "I think you should be serious about what you do because this is it. This is the only life you've got." It really shows the kind of person he is when he say, "Good work is the only thing that would make me feel jealous or envious." It is said that he donated to many different charities and volunteered his time at many different agencies.

The reason that I believe this is the most important event is because it really affects the country as a whole. A good amount of the population was familiar with his work and that is why it really hit home when he passed away. Philip will be remembered for his work as an actor just as much as he will be as a human being.
