BE A 3D MAKER

Visit the Thingverse website to learn about 3D printing.  Visit Mr. Orofino in the Technology Department to watch the Flashforge 3D printer in action.

BE A STOP ANIMATION MAKER

Direct your own top animation movie, and create it using Lego Movie Maker with Legos or Play Doh..  You can even enter the multimedia category of the annual Walt Whitman Poetry Contest or the annual C-SPAN StudentCam Contest.

BE A GREEN SCREEN MOVIE MAKER

Direct your own green screen movie and create it using Do Ink's Green Screen.   You can even enter the multimedia category of the annual Walt Whitman Poetry Contest or the annual C-SPAN StudentCam Contest.  How about your own TED talk?!

BE KNITTED SCARF OR BASKET MAKER

Learn how to knit a scarf, or create a basket and then donate it to local shelter.  You will need to purchase two balls of fun fur or fancy fur by Lion Brand, and two size 10 knitting needles.

In order to enter the Follett Challenge, applicants must demonstrate how the program is preparing students for the demands of the 21st century and create a 3-5 minute video about the program.  The grand prize is $30,000!

Interview a teacher, a parent, or a friend and upload your conversation to the Wall of Listening, a digital oral-history initiative sponsored by StoryCorps.  You can even interview a veteran and enter the My Hero Is contest.

BE A POETRY MAKER

Are you a poet, and you don't even know it?  Enter the Pets Add Life poetry contest (now through January 31, 2015) and the Walt Whitman poetry contest (January - March 2015)

Design your own website using Tackk or Weebly.
