Some say that the Industrial Revolution was all about improvements, but if you think about it technology is improvements. Technology was a huge part of the Industrial Revolution because it made everyday life easier. One invention was the water wheel. The water wheel was use to supply energy. People often used it as a generator for power. Another example is the loom. The loom was used for making clothes. At first you had to make the clothes by hand and it took hours; sometimes days. This is why people back then didn't have as many clothes. Then, the steam engine was invented which supplied the power for the new machine to make clothes faster. Even though the Industrial Revolution had plenty to do with improvements, the main idea is all about technology.
