How does the type of circuit affect the strand of Christmas Lights with a burned out bulb?

If the Christmas Lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when one bulb burst the other bulbs will light up.
they all light up and are bright.

If the Christmas Lights are arranged in a series circuit then when one bulb bursts the other bulbs will not light up.
they light up but are not bright.
they flow of electricity stops and no bulb light up.
A parallel circuit is the best series to use for Christmas Lights because they still are lit up and are brighter.
