People are like cars.
They zoom in and out of your life.
One minute they’re at the corner,
then before you know it they’re all the way around the block,
But sometimes they speed up too much,
They fly by in the blink of an eye.
They are so worried about getting away,
that they don’t care how much they go over the speed limit.
Until they crash.
Then they expect you to be the ambulance, or the cop car,
coming to the rescue to pick up all the broken pieces.
Then they’re sitting in the repair shop,
wishing they never left to begin with.
Because before they left everything was perfect,
Not a single bump or bruise.
So they stay sitting there,
wishing they could turn back the wheels of time.
