I chose the University of Massachusetts- Lowell. This school is well known for Criminology, Economics, and Computer Engineering. To enter this University you need a ACT score of 21/27 for composition. For the SAT you need a 500/600 in reading and a 520/620 in Math. Tuition is $8,597 and extra fees are $30,442. The campus has small classes so they can get one to one with students.
"What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you". Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote this. He has a special relationship to me since we share a name. Growing up he was always called by his middle name and growing up I was always called by my last name, Waldo. When I first heard this I related to it. I felt that it signals that your past and future is based on who you are as a person.I heard this quote just a few years ago in class. You will use this quote when determining your future. What you want to do is based on who you are as a person and not what your friend is doing.
My uncle is my role. My uncle lives in California and works as Aeronautical Engineer. He lives to serve others. He works for a company that specializes in high tech military weapons that go on planes. He designs and tries out weapons to make sure they are functional. Robert Waldo works hard for what he does and gets the pay-off reward in the end. Not only the money pay-off but the pay-off of keeping this country safe.
The FBI is also known as the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On the official FBI website it says, "As an intelligence-driven and a threat-focused national security organization with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities, the mission of the FBI is to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners", (FBI 1). The FBI is a big deal with our national security. This is an important job to keep not just a few people, but a whole country. This is a big responsibility and a honor to do.
