magnesium's role in plants

magnesium is part of the chlorophyll in all green plants and is essential for photosynthesis. it activates many enzymes needed for plant growth.

magnesium is found naturally in soil minerals, organic materials, dolomitic limestone. a lack of this nutrient can be seen by yellowing between the leaf veins and the deaths of the leaves starting with old and eventually young.

Rite Green magnesium sulphate soil enhancer is one example of a magnesium fertilizer.
