Update on Parent-Teacher Conferences:

The school is asking for all parents to use PTCFast to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences (see the Moodle home page for more information). Please tell your parents, and also tell them that when signing up, to sign up for the day and time we previously discussed, so as to be fair to other families. I didn’t realize the school was going to have you sign up this way, or I would not have posted sign ups in my course. Thank you for your understanding.

UPDATE: All parents who previously requested time slots for Parent-Teacher Conferences have been granted the times of their choosing, per the table located in the course. Please feel free to sign up for any remaining slots.

Just a reminder, not that you need one, there is no school today. However, I'm not going to take points off if you log in and work on your assignments. I will be in meetings most of the day but I'll try to respond to your messages when I can.

I hope you had a great weekend! I went to the city of Durham, North Carolina, home of Duke University and North Carolina Central University, barbeque, the Durham Bulls baseball team, the Scrap Exchange, and the sit-in movements of the 1950s-1960s.

I went to a place called Pompieri Pizza. They actually don't cut your pizza. They give you scissors and you can cut your pizza on your own. They also grow their own herbs using aquaponics.

Click on the button to read about the Fish Tanks and Aquaponics at Pompieri.

This pizza was so good!
