"CPR: How to Save a Life"

1.) Accident: any event that happens unexpectedly, without a deliberate plan or cause

My brother had a wakebording accident and cut his head.

If you are not breathing you are dead.

3.) Choke: to stop by filling; obstruct; clog

If you choke on something to long you can have brain dmage.

4.) Emergency: a sudden, urgent, usually unexpected occurrence or occasion requiring immediate action

I had to go to the emergency room to get stitches.

5.) Abdominal thrust: for the treatment of choking in which the patient is held firmly around the midriff just under the ribcage.

Abdominal thrust can help stop someone from choking.

6.) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation: emergency medical procedures for restoring normal heartbeat and breathing to victims of heart failure, drowning, etc.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a mouth full to say and hard to pronounce.

7.) Universal precautions: is an approach to infection control to treat all human blood and certain human body fluids as if they were known to be infectious for HIV, HBV and other bloodborne pathogens

Universal precautions are ways to help save a persons life.

8.) Faint: feeling weak, dizzy, or exhausted; about to lose consciousness

I know a person that faints a lot.

9.) First aid: emergency aid or treatment given to someone injured, suddenly ill, etc., before regular medical services arrive or can be reached

I know lots of people that are cwolifide to do first aid.

10.) Heartbeat: a pulsation of the heart, including one complete systole and diastole

We all have a heartbeat unless your dead.

11.) Pulse: the rhythmic recurrence of strokes, vibrations, or undulations

If you don't have a pulse than you don't have a heart beat.]

12.) Rescue: to free or deliver from confinement, violence, danger, or evil

Fire fighters rescue people.

13.) Respiration: the act of respiring; inhalation and exhalation of air; breathing

Respiration is a fancy word for breathing I think.

14.) Compressions: The state of being compressed

Compressions can save a persons life.
