Frederick Douglass Ch. IV Word Study

1.) Prefix is a word that you placed before another. For example, "re" as reread and "dis" as disappointed.

2.) Suffix is a word that you added the word at the end of the word. For example, "hope" then you added " fully" to the end like hopefully.

3.) Root word is a real word in the middle between of prefix and suffix. For example, unfriendly like friend is a root word and prefix is un and suffix is -ly.
