Mediterranean Climate

Mediterranean climate is classified by rainfalls at or more than 6 cm in the driest month, and temperatures at or above 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the coldest month. Precipitation annually ranges from 14 to 35 inches, which is relatively low.  The precipitation that falls is in the form of rain. The average temperature is around 80 or 81 degrees in this climate. Some locations in this climate include Morocco, Sicily, Portugal, and Turkey. Winters in these areas are cool and wet while summers are very hot and humid. Winter gets the most rainfall accounting for around 65% of the yearly rainfall.
