The United States population has been built up and diversified by the immigration. Immigration has built the culture that out society stands for and continues to help diversity grow. The many laws and policies that have been placed into action have limited many races and cultures. When people come to America it is a change they have to make wholeheartedly. By being consumed in American culture, and frowned upon if their own belief and morals are prioritized. A similarity and difference between now and back then is seen through undocumented Americans. Back then these citizens where what started the growth of our population and now they are threatened daily with deportation. Now a days the idea of immigration has been altered into such negative aspect due to racism, the media, and politics. These parts of American society shine a negative light on immigration causing the overall outcome to be seen as disgusting. The opinions of many people have been altered and the idea of immigration is no longer seen a positive thing. It is sad to see something that brought so much improvement to our society turned into something so negative.

I really enjoyed your pictures. I agree parts of american society shine a negative light on immigration. I just hope that people can change their mine or at least get to know more about how becoming legal works.
