Arthur Kanev - Dental Career
Arthur Kanev knew at an early age that he wanted to be a dentist. He had always maintained a fascination with the medical sciences, and dental hygiene seemed like one way he could significantly impact the lives of others in a way that also lines up with all of his goals in life.
So right after he graduated from high school, he had set his sights on Temple University as the place where he would attain his degrees in higher academia. As an undergrad, he flourished as a student who was devoted to his studies, likes by his classmates and respected by his instructors. He graduates in four years with a Bachelor of Science degree. After that, he immediately enrolled in medical school at the same university, and put another four years of studies towards his degree. At his final stages of certification he still had an internship and residency he had to complete, both of which he did at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. He did his internship there in General Dentistry and his residency in Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
Arthur Kanev was a dental professional as well as a member of the American Dental Association from 1972 to 1995. He worked for West Somerville Dental Associates as an associate in general dentistry, full mouth reconstruction and outpatient surgery under general anesthesia. He then became an Associate in Cambridge Dental Associates for two years, before he became the Director and partner at Gentle Dental Associates, where he stayed for eight years.
