The Amur Leopard, scientifically known as the Panthera pardus orientalis, displayed above is apart of a rar species that is located in the far East of Russia either found in mountain or forest habitats. these habits are fairly accessible for humans allowing poaching to be an easy way to achieve the beautiful spotted fur of the Amur Leopard. Roe deer, sika deer, and hares are just a few animals in the diet of the Amur Leopard, but they too are being poached. This species can not strive under the conditions humans are putting them under, they are being poached and so is their food limiting their population.
