Student Aid Center: Working to Help College Graduates

The economy has never been tougher for recent college graduates. As more people graduate from college than ever before, the value of a four-year college degree decreases. Jobs are scarcer for graduates who have little experience, and the cost of attending a four-year state university has skyrocketed over the past decade. This cost explosion in most universities across the country has caused an unprecedented number of aspiring college students to take out loans in order to pay for their education. More graduates taking out more loans to pay for rising tuition rates and other expenses have caused the national total of all student debt to exceed $1.2 trillion late last year. In this climate of rising education costs and subsequent debts, the federal government has offered programs to help those struggling with their student debt. Student Aid Center (SAC) helps graduates find and apply for these government programs.

There are still millions of recent college graduates with copious amounts of debt who don’t realize that there are many government programs recently created to help them. Many who do know about them are unsure if they qualify for them, and still others don’t have the time to complete the complicated application process that would save them thousands of dollars. The mission of Student Aid Center is to enroll as many people as possible in these beneficial programs as possible. Since its creation in April 2013, SAC has processed over a quarter of a billion dollars worth of student loans and successfully signed over ten thousand individuals up for loan consolidation services, repayment services, and loan forgiveness services. The employees of Student Aid Center work hard to make sure that those with large student debts know their options and get the relief they need and deserve. SAC acts as an intermediary between borrower and lender, working out agreements that are favorable to their clients. They work to bring their clients out of default, reduce the monthly payment, or have the loan forgiven. Their services are designed to give comprehensive support for those with student loan debt.

Student Aid Center is based in Doral, Florida and has grown quickly since it was first established in 2013. The company started its operations out of a small, 6,000 square foot office with a few employees. The services of this company have become so valued in the community and across the country that SAC had to move into a much larger office to house its 200 employees in September of 2014.
