About Carl Casale
Carl Casale serves as the president and chief executive officer of CHS Inc., a Minnesota-based company owned by ranchers, famers, and agriculture collectives throughout the United States. In his role at the Fortune 100 organization, which maintains global operations, he manages such activity as grain marketing, foods, crop nutrients, and energy services. Moreover, Carl Casale oversees business solutions services offered by CHS Inc., including financial and risk management and insurance.
In his capacity at CHS Inc., Carl Casale directed such corporate expansion initiatives as the purchase of grain, soy protein, and processing businesses, the opening of new offices in Asia, and the acquisition of a Kansas oil refinery. A native of Willamette Valley, Oregon, where his family owned a vegetable farm, he earned a bachelor of science at Oregon State University and a master of business administration at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Today, Carl Casale owns and manages a 100-acre blueberry farm in Oregon.
