About Carl Contino, MS, PT
Carl Contino, M.S., P.T., balances his demanding career as a physical therapist at Philadelphia’s Premier Physical Therapy, P.C., with community-minded work, volunteering for several charities and nonprofit groups in the region. In the past, he has participated in breast cancer awareness walks with his mother and the Ladies of Port Richmond group. Today, he regularly donates to local food banks and youth shelter programs, and he has contributed to college alumni groups as well as the Smiley Faces Foundation. Carl Contino also supports the Morgan and Smokey Brown Foundation, which provides scholarship opportunities to Port Richmond, Philadelphia, students seeking enrollment in top regional private high schools.
Educated at Hahnemann University and Neumann University, Carl Contino, M.S., P.T., began working as a physical therapist in 1992. He completed clinical internships at Northeastern Ambulatory Care Center and Saint Agnes Hospital in Philadelphia and worked for various practices in the Delaware Valley region, before founding his own clinic, Catalyst Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, in 2006. Joining Premier Physical Therapy in 2010, Carl Contino currently maintains certification with the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy.
