Jews are monotheistic, or they believe in only one god. Jews believe that God will one day send a Messiah to forgive all people of their sins. They have a holy text called the Torah. The Torah is the first five books of the old testament of the Bible. The Jews try to live their lives by the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments are not to have any other Gods but God, don't bow down to any graven image, don't use the Lord's name in vain, remember Sabbath's day, honor your mom and dad, don't kill, don't commit adultery, don't steal, don't bear false witness, and don't covet your neighbors possesions.
