Properties of Matter
Mass- the amount of matter in an object.
Volume- measures how much space a object takes up.
Weight- is actually the force of gravity between Earth and the object.
Density- is a measure of how tightly packed matter is.
Buoyancy- is the upward push on an object by the liquid.
Conduct- allow heat or electricity to flow through readily.
Insulate- does not allow heat or electricity to flow through readily.
Solubility- can dissolve in water.
Magnetism- attracted to a magnet.
State of matter- is any of solid, liquid, and gas can exist in.
Melting point- is the temperature at which a solid changes state into a liquid.
Boiling point- is the temperature at which a liquid changes state into a gas.
Freezing point- is the temperature at which a liquid changes state into a solid.
