Florence Joyner was a very determined lady. She was determined to do a lot of things. One of her determination was to get her husband to serve as her coach. Joyner was so determined that she became a NCAA champion and won a silver medal in a 200-meter run. She was a really competitive person also. Florence was the fastest runner of the 1980s. To keep up her good work, she took and passed 11 drug test in 1988 alone. 6 years after the Seoul Olympics, in 1995, she was honored with an induction Track and Field Hall Of Fame. With her husband and daughter help, she was a very proud woman. She took home 3 gold medals with their help. She even still holds world records in the 100 and 200 meter events, with the time of 10.49 seconds and 21.34 seconds respectively. Joyner even won the Sullivan Award for the best amateur athlete. Florence is best known for Olympic gold medalist.
