April 2014- Gracefully Simple
As the school year draws to an end, I am reminded of the bittersweet feelings that come along with it. First, the excitement that comes with the end of classes, and the plans that you have for summer vacation. Then, the sad feelings that come with leaving your friends, community, and fun extracurricular activities that shaped your life that school year.
As the students of BGSU Cru are heading into their last couple weeks of school, I have no doubt that they are feeling some of these things. Some students will head home for the summer and take summer classes or work a summer job. Others will stay in town and do the same with hopes of continuing the community that they had throughout the school year, and still others will travel all over the country and the world on summer-long missions trips that Cru calls Summer Projects.
No matter what theses students choose to do with their summer, I pray that they will continue to seek the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. I pray that they would find community wherever they spend their summer and are continually challenged in their walk with the Lord. Will you pray with me?
Much Love and God Bless,
-- For the students spending their summer at home. That they would have good, Godly community to help them grow as believers.
-- For the students on Cru Summer Projects. That they would also grow greatly in their relationship with the Lord.
-- For the students to finish the year strong as they finish up classes and take their finals.
