Medieval Weaponry

Created by Brian Bennett

A knights sword was composed of a mixture of steel and iron. This made the weapon very effective against enemy armor because of the iron and steel mixed together. In battle these weapons were used most often than anything this type of sword is called the long sword.

A knights armor was made of iron, steel, and sometimes bronze. the bronze was used for  the decoration of the armor not as much to protect the wearer of the armor. In knight armor the iron and steel was also mixed together to make it very strong and to withhold enemy attacks. It was also composed of regular clothing stacked on top of each other the clothes on the inside of the armor. There was also a chain mail inside the armor
