Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi! An Australian interpretation of the documentary

As An Australian viewing the movie “super-size me” was very frightening of how fast food can affect an entire continent by over advertising. It was also very shocking to see the sizes of drinks and fries containers and how much Americans consume in one meal. It shows the potential that a country like Australia could double the obesity rate; America doubled their obesity rate in children in a “20-25” year time period. It is scary that the population of children can increase so drastically in a small period of time, so a country like Australia which already has many McDonalds and other fast food stores like KFC, Hungry jacks etc, stores spread out throughout the country. Australia already has the necessary resources to become an obese nation but it does have many factors that contribute to preventing obesity from spreading out to the majority of the population. Australia’s love for sports such as football, cricket, soccer etc can be enough high intensity action to prevent obesity from occurring in Australian athletes and non athletes who get enough exercise through things such as walking unlike the average American who heavily rely on their cars for transport and machine to aid them in their walking once they have become to heavy and lazy.
