Top Ten Events during 7th Grade
The dances are fun experiences because you get to hang out with friends and have a good time. They can be a little loud, but it is worth it because everyone ends up having a great time. I usually hang out with Lydia, Eden, Ashleigh, Nicole, Anna, and Sarah.
9. Radio Drama
This was fun because we got to write and act in a radio drama. I was in a group Ashleigh, Eden, and Nicole. We did these because we were talking about the drama called The War of The Worlds. The video is in the button below. Our broadcast was about a haunted hospital. It was about a girl and her two friends (Me, Eden, and Nicole. Ashleigh was the narrator) go to a hospital because one of the friends slipped and broke her ankle. In the hospital, the friends start disappearing. First, it was Nicole, then me, and finally Eden to disappear. Our radio drama is under The War of the Worlds.
8. Outsiders' Day
Ousiders' Day was one of my favorite parts of 7th grade English. It was so much fun because we got to play fun games including password and kahoot. We also got to dress up as Greasers or Socs. I dressed up as a Greaser.
7. Watching Twilight Zone episodes
Watching Twilight Zone was very fun. In English, we watched 3 episodes. One of the episodes was based on the radio drama, The War of the Worlds. It was about how weird things were happening in a neighborhood, and the neighbors think that there was an alien on the street. Another episode was about image is powerful; image is superficial. It was about this "pretty" girl wanting a new face because she was considered ugly, and everyone else in the world is considered "pretty", even though we would consider them ugly. The final episode was about how when you turn 18, you get to pick what you look like, and one of the girls didn't want to do the operation. Two of the episodes are below.
6. Winter Break
Over Winter Break, my family and I went to Connecticut. Most of my family lives there. We stayed at my grandmother's house. On Christmas, we went to my other grandparents' house and my cousins' house. The day after Christmas, my mom, dad, and brother went back home, but I got to go to Texas and stay at my aunt's and uncle's house. I saw a bunch of interesting things in Texas.
5. Spring Break
Over Spring Break, my family and I went to Florida. We stayed at my grandparents' house. We swam, played tennis, and swam some more while I was there. I went with my mom, my dad, my brother, my 4 cousins, my 2 aunts, my uncle, my grandmother, and my grandfather. It really was a nice break from school (not to be mean to all of the teachers).
