About Chad Greenslade
Based out of the north Dallas, Texas area, Chad Greenslade is an Information Technology (IT) project management executive in the financial services industry. Chad currently serves as the Director of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) at Cardtronics, Inc., a leading ATM operator in North America, Mexico, Latin America, Europe and the United Kingdom (UK).
Chad has over fifteen years of IT and project management experience with firms such as Wells Fargo Bank, Providian Financial Corporation, Washington Mutual Inc., JP-Morgan Chase, GM-Southwest, TTI, Inc., and Think Finance. Chad has managed projects and portfolios with budgets in excess of $25 million. While a majority of his career has been in bank and credit card operations, Chad is also experienced in the electronic components distribution industry as well as the health insurance claims and underwriting industry. Throughout his career, Chad has held a variety of positions in the IT field, including desktop support, application support, business analyst, technical analyst, project manager, PMO manager, director of IT, and director of PMO.
Chad began his IT career in 1997 while still in college at the University of Texas at Arlington. When he finished his degree, he moved into the IT project management field as a junior level project manager. As his career in project management progressed, he attained the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. He later added the Projects in Controlled Environments version 2 (PRINCE2) and the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials. He has also attained various credentials in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 certification program.
In his spare time, Chad enjoys working out and relaxing with friends. He's an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoys the outdoors and loves to travel. A former high school baseball player, he still enjoys playing in men's recreational baseball leagues and company softball teams.
Project Management Institute Features Global Congress in Spain
With more than 15 years of experience working in the information technology industry, Dallas, TX, resident Chad Greenslade serves as director of IT for the project management office at Cardtronics in Frisco. To help him stay current with industry trends, Chad Greenslade maintains membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
As the world’s leading nonprofit membership association for program, project, and portfolio management, PMI boasts more than 2.9 million professional members. Established in 1969, PMI advances careers, offers certifications, and includes professional development courses.
With members scattered across the globe, PMI hosts events throughout the world. One 2016 event, scheduled for May 9-11, is the PMI Global Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Those who attend the event listen to keynote speakers, partake in face-to-face networking opportunities, and learn about the latest trends and business practices. They also can visit with sponsors and exhibitors, both of whom offer demonstrations and product presentations. Attendees have an opportunity to gain between 16 and 30 professional development units (PDU) to help maintain certification. In 2015, the conference welcomed 850 attendees representing 72 countries and 450 organizations.
