About Chavie Kahn
A successful administrator with considerable experience in the education sector, Chavie Kahn presently works as an executive board member and the first vice president of the Manhattan Day School in New York City. Over the past 14 years, she has worked hard to maintain open lines of communication with parents, board members, and educators. Chavie Kahn also plays an integral role in strategy development for the 540-student school and remains active in areas such as vendor selection for the school’s website, senior hiring, and budget management. She also provides training in written communication and edits important communications between the school administration and parents.
Ms. Kahn also serves as a new generation board member with AMIT, a major elementary and high school network based in Israel. As a leader with the nonprofit organization for nearly a decade, she has coordinated numerous fundraisers in the United States and promoted schools within the AMIT network.
Chavie Kahn holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she spent one year as the supervisory editor of the Law Review.
